A Neurology and Oncology Genetic Counselor

Lior Borovik, MS, LCGC is an expert in helping families with cancer or neurologic conditions understand what role genetics plays in the disease.

He takes family history into account during assessment. From there, he will spend time educating you on the following topics:

  • Inheritance
  • Testing
  • Management
  • Prevention
  • Resources
  • Research

Lior also provides support and counseling to help you and your family understand the medical psychological and familial effects of genetic testing and disease.

He also serves as Clinical Instructor for the University of South Dakota Medical School, as well as faculty for the joint Augustana/Sanford Genetic Counseling Program.
