How is Breast Cancer Treated?
At Edith Sanford Breast Center, we face breast cancer as a team. Our multidisciplinary team will champion you from diagnosis to treatment to survivorship, always putting you first.
Diagnosis
If you have irregularities in your scan, what are your next steps? Your doctor may recommend additional diagnostic methods to take a closer look.
Treatment
You’ll have a team of medical and radiation oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, researchers and other breast experts working to find the most effective treatment options for you.
After a diagnosis, your case is brought to our weekly breast tumor board. A room of multidisciplinary experts collaborates on the care plan that’s best for you.
